Signal is a Capstone Project I founded alongside two peers to deliver audio services for the graduating cohort’s final projects. Operating as a freelance collective, we managed the full audio pipeline across four varied productions, mirroring a real agency workflow.

Students are graduating with high-fives and honours, yet they feel like they’ve been dropped into the deep end without a life vest the moment a real-world brief hits their desk. The gap between academic theory and industry reality is widening. While university provides a safe space for conceptual exploration, it often lacks the "messy" variables that define a professional career.
solution
A student-run collective built to turn study into a working industry environment. By approaching projects as real deliverables, we mirror the workflows, expectations, and accountability of professional creative practice. Our goal is straightforward: operate like professionals now, not someday.

When I pitched the idea to our final Major Projects class it came from the idea of collaboration, initially wanting to band together students across multiple disciplines.
